Birth is a sacred rite of passage; an initiation into a whole new way of being. Conscious pregnancy yoga helps you connect with your body, your baby and help you learn to trust your body’s wisdom. My conscious pregnancy classes will provide you with a gentle and nurturing yoga practice that strengthen your body and your nervous system through meditations, visualizations, gentle asana. They also create a warm, welcoming space for mothers to build a community.
Each prenatal yoga session is an invitation to awaken and reclaim your Shakti (your feminine wisdom) and connect with the cycles of the Earth. Sessions include gentle, flowing asana, embodied dance, breathing techniques, meditations and chanting practices. Through these practices, we develop tools to deal with physical and mental challenges of pregnancy and also prepare for a gentle birth and joyful postpartum period.

This is an inclusive all-womxn yoga class based on my teacher Uma Tuli Dinsmore’s Womb yoga teachings (yoga therapist, author of Yoni Shakti).
Each class is dedicated to nourishing & connecting womxn to their feminine experiences (menstruation, fertility, menopause, etc). We practice awareness and honouring of the womb-space or ‘Yoni’, awaken trust with our inner guidance, practice connection with Mother Earth, and honour the feminine energy of Shakti flowing through us!
It is a deliciously feminine approach to yoga which integrates rhythmic asana (postures) with breath, sound, mudra (gesture) and bandhas (pelvic floor locks and seals) to enhance awareness of our inner womxn’s wisdom and elemental connections. The asanas (postures), pranamaya (breathing), chanting, meditation and deep relaxation are all designed to support women at all stages of their life cycles, including the postpartum period, peri menopause and menopause.
All womxn, with or without wombs are welcome!
